I don't think this is the question of whether China would be the world's superpower (Politically, Economically, Militarily, etc), but when will it become that. China has done well for itself in recent times, that's why the US is hating. But guess what, it's too late for that. With the speed at which China is moving, in the next decade, I wonder what its position in the world will be. I hope it will not be intoxicated with power like the US. I trust no country now!If it's something that I know as a tradition about China, they value history and they don't forget history. They know the things that has happened in the past to their countries and has suffered alot of casualties from different countries, at the level they are right now they are well prepared for everything, they now have the cards this is why the US is threatening and doing all the jab just to make showcase their political power and abuse people other countries.
Have you ask yourself why does the US keep attacking just China? Why not Russia and other countries where they have more resources they are tapping from? It's because China is becoming headache to them, they are there main competitors and US don't want a competitor in the market, the only way they can deal with them is this way and that's why they are doing everything to play the games of chess trying to paint China bad but it's going back to them.
