You're right setting a limits do well to help you be able to manage your bankroll and as well gamble responsibly, often times gamblers don't take advantage of this and keep going off their limits. All of this points that you've highlighted so far will go a long way in maintaining a balance gambling state but it all depends on the gambler which involves them having self control over themselves each time they tend to gamble, so if they can observe this points I'm sure they'll have an addiction and regrets free gambling experience.

I have already been there where I think making one more bet is enough for me to stop gambling. But what happen is my emotions trigger and increase after I loss in the last bet and I think I should get my money back. So that made me place another bet which is result lost the money.

It is happen to many gamblers but not many of them realize that is a wrong thing they did. They must not think one more bet and then stop gambling because that can make them think about making one more bet again and again.
