FYI backups have been made even before they filed for bankruptcy and those data are safely stored in another database, so deleting it from their accounts makes no difference.

This was exactly what came to my mind the moment I saw the thread - even if the company assures its users that they are going to delete their data from their system upon request — there’s no way for them to actually confirm that it was done and the deletion was made permanently and not in a way that it can be retrieved back.

A bit off-topic, but I think this also applies to other site as well that allow user to delete their data from their site; there’s no assurance that it was actually removed from their site and none of it was backup before the process of deletion.
