Well written @AVE5, of course it's theymos who seats as the arbiter after all so there's no need for any alleged competition and it is possible that the Nigeria local board can be granted two merits sources at a time base on theymos volition after reviews of applicants merits distribution record. I give my support to both applicants (Mia Chloe and SmartGold01) asi think they're unique in their different contributions to the Nigeria local board and the forum. My prayer is that they're both considered for merit source.
The Nigerian
local board already has 2 merit sources in these users CryptopreneurBrainboss whom has served in this capacity for a good number of years and most recently, Igebotz whom is both the moderator and merit source of the locale. Though there have been some challenges which they have been very vocal about when the opportunity presents itself, in the sense that, they both have just about the barest minimum to act in this capacity without being extremely and explicitly careful on how to dispense the little they are given hence, many posts would always pass them by without being accorded deserved acknowledgment. In fact, some posts might be reserved for later due to merit sources running out of Smerit and then, you would find out that these posts never gets merited once it’s procrastinated but, this thread isn’t about that.
Here we have yet another credible Nigerian vying for the position to act in the interest of the Nigerian local board as a merit source. I like the ambition which I’m seeing especially when it’s in the interest of encouraging quality participation in the locale. It’s a good development and one that should be looked at for the credible.
I’ll also use this means to call for an increased allocation for existing merit sources like CryptopreneurBrainboss and Igebotz.
