Generally it proves that you either prepare replies in advance or  you do not read what you post, if you admit that then maybe a signature ban for 6 months/1 year will be enough.
Regardless of whether I give an opinion at this stage about whether the ban should be lifted or not, the other problem is Mrbluntzy is a farmed account (or unlikely at the very least an alt-account). Of all the accounts he could have made an error onwith by copying the text, he did it with a farmed account. Unfortunately that seems to add to the fact it does not look good on his part.

Or both, his post history is full of generic posts. I'm not inclined to anything in terms of having his ban removed or imposing some other penalty as you suggest but I'm not surprised this happened to him.
Also though not immediately relevant, around the time of participating with his current campaign the Dr.Bitcoin_Strange account has been making what seem to be 99% of their posts in the Gambling Discussion board and the post quality is not exactly great even if most of the posts are elongated.

You were averaging close to 10 posts per day, many of those were generic gambling comments. Many people would consider this behavior to be signature spamming. Although the punishment might be considered harsh for what might be an honest mistake, when we also take the spammy behavior into account, there is enough reason that justifies your account getting banned.
I remember the OP account when he was a quality poster and regularly posted in various threads but something changed. Maybe meeting his campaign quota had a part to play, maybe controlling more than one account contributed to where he finds himself today.

Also, I reiterate Mrbluntzy is a farmed account. The fact the OP made an error with that particular account only makes this situation more worse than it needed to be because the question arises whether he controls both accounts.
