Satoshi Nakamoto is a person and already died.
Satoshi Nakamoto is a person and still alive but if it is like this, Satoshi Nakamoto must be very determinantly with his decision, activities after that in many years to maintain his anonymity.
Satoshi Nakamoto is a group of person, and we can not know one or all of them.

My thinking is as same as yours. Satoshi Nakamoto disappearance and his anonymity are big presents to Bitcoin community.
