After using their service for years I am sad to learn they closed.
It was the closest to a crypto payment, with no refunds.
After LibertReserve, ePassport, ePayments, this is another payment processor closing .
It's sad to learn about the closure of Perfect Money. It started in 2007 and gained traction after the US government clamped down and closed Liberty Reserve. Perfect Money beat the government in their games until the era of cryptocurrency, still, they did fight in the competitive industry, but regulation has never been on its side, which makes companies sceptical of dealing with it again.
Is it known what the reason for the service's closure was?
The sudden abandonment by online brokers is the only reason I can think of. The brokers were its backbone, a main reason why people used it. As for the brokers, I guess regulators were on their neck, so they had to stop offering it for payments.

The Perfect Money website is still not seized till today, and it's very responsive. See what it shows now:

After clicking on that clickable link. I was asked to log in to the support area. I guess it's in case I need support, perhaps, those who still have money there and want to move it out. But I know they will not give everybody their money again. They are not regulated, and no one to fight.
