I think it depends on the situation and the conditions as to what option one should choose. Sometimes, selecting a side for the win or maybe choosing a draw could get you a win, and sometimes you should bet on goals or other stats as available in the sportsbook you are placing your bets with. For me personally, I usually go for goals, and I must say that the success rate with that has been better than choosing sides, but I'm just saying someone can also win by using those.

Not being a fan of slots is understandable but saying that you don't like slots because you feel you don't have any control over them doesn't make much sense to me because you don't have control over any casino game that you play, even dice, it's all based on your luck and all you have to do is choose your bet and press a button to see the outcome. Dice allows you to set the odds, but that doesn't give you control but only increases or decreases your chances of winning.
