In as much as the person is a newbie is it not better to start with the DCA strategy?, i can never advice a newbie to start from buying the dip instead you should use the DCA strategy that will allow you to accumulate weekly, little by little for a long-term of 4- 10 years or more because the person has no Bitcoin yet or for someone that is just starting to invest in Bitcoin,so that you will take your time to plan on how you want to accumulate your portfolio also on how to set up your discretionary income, reserve fund and emergency fund so that you will not have to sell your coins before the stipulated time or find yourself in the situation that will make you stop along your journey.
Buying at the dip should not stop you from using DCA method, you can still buy from the dip and also accumulate bitcoin. It is not a bad idea for one to buy bitcoin in the dip; in fact, it is a good strategy. one thing to understand about DCA method, you can always buy bitcoin at any given time. If you have problem in buying bitcoin at the dip then I must say using DCA method might be challenging for you to accumulate bitcoin effectively because you don't feel comfortable with buying at lower prices.
When volatility is seen as a threat to buying Bitcoin, it discourages investors from accumulating Bitcoin. The essence of the DCA method is to buy Bitcoin consistently, regardless of the price, at regular timeframe.
