I don't know what kind of encouragement can affect someone's interest and determination to keep holding their Bitcoin. But maybe there are some people who need encouragement to give confidence or increase self-confidence. Maybe when you are active in the forum and read some topics related to Bitcoin price fluctuations, it will still give you peace of mind because there will definitely be encouragement from other members to keep holding and not panic.

I almost countered your statement not until I went further to read that their are some people who needs motivation to keep going, it's good you acknowledged that cause everyone can't be same, the fact that particular holder is very diligent when it comes to his goals concerning holding Bitcoin for a longer period doesn't mean the next person would be same.
Some people are very willing to keep going but along the line may get discouraged or tempted by to sell, such people would need encouragement to keep going and that's one role this forum plays perfectly, it doesn't only teach people concerning Bitcoin but also helps them understand why they should keep holding for longer period, and like you said being active is the best way every holder can encourage themselves cause you'll definitely come across threads and discussion talking about it.
