This is a shady website. What they mostly do is gain your trust by paying some people and later shutting down their website, which is what I believe they did now.

Do you mean WETH?
It seems it's only tradable on decentralized exchanges. I can't seem to find this on any CEX exchanges.

wEth is Wrapped Ethereum is a tokenized form of Ethereum, just like we see in Bitcoin, where some shady Devs create wBTC to make people believe it's a real Bitcoin. They are doing the same thing with Ethereum.
Having said that, this token is available on Binance, the last time I checked, and it is also on some CEXs before.
