Like I said before, you guys are kind of extreme. I think there's enough proof to show that using prefixes is pretty much always the better move when searching for hashes, or at least, that's how it looks.
Yes, the truth is an extreme. What do you mean by "pretty much always"? Looks more like "never". Also, where is the proof you are talking about? And lastly, how does what looks? What I’m seeing here is you’re tweaking the search method. According to mcd, his method should work better no matter how you run it. If you wanna prove him wrong, you gotta find a way where, even with the same search strategy, the prefix method still messes up.
