That is because the banks can't issue cards in your name without KYC.

Unless it's a no-name card or nominees are involved, which doesn't seem to be the case here.

You are right. It was an oversight on my end. I will edit the post and change it. In their older videos on X, the Aqua team talked about the card as being a credit card, not a debit card. So, I will refer to it as such. There is no mention of either debit or credit in this latest announcement. JAN3 is a technology and financial company. Aqua Wallet is their creation. Samson Mow is the company CEO and an Aqua Wallet developer.

Credit cards = cards not tied to a particular bank balance, but to a credit (borrowing) limit at some credit union.
