They will only move their crypto asset down there.
For what reason? Better taxation terms? They already know where and how to do it, so there is no opportunity for them to use a government-regulated exchange.
Majorly, I believe this is to increase accountability in crypto transactions in Russia and better help Russia evade Western sanctions. It's a calculated plan!
They can evade Western sanctions in other ways and they know it. They do it already. Also, if they move their funds there, they are at a bigger risk if the government collapses or locks their funds for any reason it wants. I believe that this is some fake news and nothing more.
