People say we have to put in some effort to study a certain game before placing a bet. By study, they mean using different resources, checking the news, trends, rumors, and so on, because those are all important factors when capping games.
If we do all of that, it really means we're not being lazy.
But does doing all that really increase our chances of winning, or more specifically, make us profitable?
That may statistically give you better results in the long run, and it could lead to being more profitable. More profitable however doesn't mean it being profitable. It just means losing less bets (statistically).
Also, it's about how you value your time. If studying games is something you like to do, i can't find any harm doing that. But if you are doing it just for more profits, just remember that there are actual jobs that have guaranteed pay. And obviously not all the free time is best spend by making money. Ihmo it's best spend stress free and with family and friends.
Occasionally it contains gambling. If i am somehow obsessed of the outcome, i will study everything i can to try to predict it. But that's not about money. It's just about information.
