It would actually be hilarious if we had a clown section. Threads so clownish that they get moved to their own section.
As far as using the stock (or other peoples') photos is concerned, yeah that's really not cool and a bit weird. If anything they should just use the generic silhouetted man or woman icon.
But it doesn't affect the outcome of OP's case one way or the other.
