And provably Trump see this and one of his Intention is to leave a statement that US is a strong country that they need to obey. But to bad he maybe didn't calculate well the risk especially that they didn't foresee the possible effect of this implementation especially if there's country like China will fight back on the actions they have do.
Maybe for now they could justified that they are winning temporarily, but the long term effect of it is damaging to US especially that China is doing its job to create global alliance especially that they are active condemning on bad actions done by US. If US will fail on this, then provably that they can fasten up the de-dollarization process and maybe this might be the reason that their country will fall down.
USA vs 1 nation type of battle will 99% result in USA winning. So if he put tariffs just on China, and pressured all his allies to follow in return of benefits, then yeah, Europe and Canada and Mexico and many other nations will put high tariffs on China in return of cheap products from USA and not giving them so much, or even cheap energy. But USA didn't do that, Trump did "USA vs ALL", and that never works, you can't make money based on that, USA is stronger than any other single nation but they are not stronger than all other nations that doesn't work.
USA winning a battle with a single nation also depends on the particular nation they're going against, although it's been long the USA have gone into a direct battle with a single nation but we know the US prowess lies in her Nuclear Arsenals and I believe that's what makes the US very fearsome and without it,the USA wouldn't have a 99% chances of coming out victorious.
The US cannot continue to be world power with the biggest economy without the help of her Allies and other nations and Donald Trump extending the Trade war to his allies was the most foolish decision ever an American president could make. It's obvious that part of the plans of starting the trade war was to indirectly attack China economically with a possibility of weakening the economical growth of China but it's turned out that the plans backfired. It backfired because instead of causing China economy to go down, the US are the ones facing the heat.they underestimated China and thought they can win against China alone but it turns out that China have become more powerful and have remained resilient knowing well that this day might come.
Like you said, The US plans could have been more productive if they haven't extended the trade war to there Allies, he could have just convinced them and if possible, pressure them to join hands in the trade war against China.i believe it's too just to late for Donald Trump to retract his wrong, although negotiations are ongoing with the US trying to see if they can now convinced &drag their allies along against China but it wouldn't work anymore
because the world cannot do trades/business without China.
I think The best available option
for Donald Trump is to end the trade war since
they arehe is the
onesone that started it.
This shows that no country can win against the world,I believe the
now knows thatUS will learn from this trade war.
