Enrique was able to learn from Arsenal's games with Real Madrid and block all the players who could do something, and they also managed to score an early goal, which I think also discouraged Arteta from the very beginning. Arsenal could also score, they were close to playing this match in a draw, but PSG was luckier and Donarumma was good. Well, it looks like it might be over for Arsenal in this Champions League, I doubt they will be able to beat PSG away, most likely PSG will win again at home.
Yes, Arsenal could have scored but PSG would have have scored even more too. Both teams goal keepers were at their best form yesterday and saved their teams from conceding more goals and equalizing goal respectively. I share the same opinion as yours because I don't know or see how Arsenal will pull a come back against Paris in their backyard.
Mind you, PSG is well aware that it's not yet over with a single away goal and they will definitely want to finish it up in front of their fans at the stadium they haven't lost so far in the champions league this season. The hardest part was for Paris to come to Emirates and get advantage but it was actually done and just like Madrid, Arsenal might lose home and away in this fixture.
Agree. PSG's early goal set the tone, and with both keepers performing at their best, Arsenal couldn't capitalize on their chances. PSG's home advantage in the second leg will make it even tougher for Arsenal to turn things around. It's going to be a big challenge for them!
