Depends on what type of person we are dealing with. If they are always on their sane mind, then nothing bad will happen to us. We might know well our friend already, especially if we have been together for a long time but not the person that they recommend to us, so it will also be a good idea to not make a deal with them, only for our safety.
If we still want to, maybe we can do a background check for a while? That should help us a bit in our decisions and the chance for us to get in trouble will now be lessened. Casino is so mainstream now, and it can be funny that if we approach some one for financial help, they will only recommend a casino to us, lol. But this can only make our situation worse. So it is a no-no.

I agree that we should be the only ones responsible for our decisions, we can be given many different recommendations and advice, but the one who advises will not lose anything, and the responsibility for our decisions will lie only with us.
