As always, your analysis is spot on, and I agree with everything you said, but... there's always that but! As you wrote "Poker is a game of chance where you have influence considering table position, bet and stack sizes, and sometimes a few individual circumstances", but the most important thing is the player himself. We are not robots, a lot depends on our mood and sometimes it is difficult to maintain concentration throughout the game, especially if we get distracted by some hands.
In the last tournament, I was 4th, and that was a success. I made several mistakes somewhere in the middle of the game... and the worst was when I wanted to call two 5s and mistakenly clicked on the fold! The five came out immediately on flop, and it was 100% my win. Sometimes it is difficult to get out of some stupid things and return to the game.
