or is it all for show?

Good question. At this level I think that everything is somewhat checked and verified by a team.
Sinner has many sponsors and economic interest and dozens of people are making money thanks to him so even these information are somewhat "filtered".
Personally I am just waiting for Internazionali in Roma. I think I will also go there to see a couple of matches. However the whole city has again the "tennis fever" (impossible few years ago such interest in a sport that was not only soccer in Italy...)
I heard today that Jannik was actually contemplating quitting Tennis completely when he got the
suspension! he didnt like the vibes he was getting in the locker room, probably from some of the
other players, do you know anything of that?
Tennis is going to be more unpredictable and wide open things are going surprising at the ATP Madrid Open many big names almost down and out of the event with now Ruud is going to be had good chance of winning this title after beating Medvedev in quarterfinal.
Zverev is also going, so no big name is going to stop him from winning title two quarterfinals are going to play in few hours which will complete lineup for last four of this event. WTA Madrid is also having shocks and surprised Swiaket was looking good in early games but Gauff took only 66 minutes to send her home with stunning win in semifinal while next semifinal is going to be played between Sabalenka vs Svitolina after exit of Swiatek it looks like Sabalenka is going to have another title under her belt.
In the atp part i honestly dont know who can win. Its really unpredicatable now plus its clay so its even more insane to predict. While in WTA before you couldnt predict but now i think it will be different. I think in WTA the winner will be Sabalenka since Swiatek was eliminated today by Gauff
In the ATP it is very unpredictible, all contestants now are of similar ability IMO. I was thinking
Ruud could be the winner but Draper now looks like the likely one, Musetti is also playing
very strong.
