Why do people have different views on trading because they go through different journeys, traders who start when the market is bullish will be very optimistic and think trading can be a career but traders who enter when the market is bearish may think they have to be active to always pay attention to the market, so as not to miss the moment.
However, experience will teach many things, whether they can finally make trading a career or not, but I prefer as an investor trading is difficult for those who have other activities.
Trading requires a lot of time, hence, if you are doing other activities more important than this activity, you won't get your focus and can possibly lose your funds thru the process because you are not very attentive to what is happening in the market.
Do remember, each project in the trading market is quite different, thus, you need to to keep up yourself with what's happening for each of them to make a smart decision when executing a trade so as to minimize losses.
When I was actively trading in crypto, I would do the following -
> learn the coin itself, the foundation and its future plans
> the liquidity, demand and the use case
> is there really actual application that can sustain its market?
> how popular it is among crypto users? demand comes in
> are the developers sincere with their mission for the project? or are they after for quick profit?
and so on... you will only have those insights if you are closely following the project as well as their social media channels as you can get hints from those platforms.
