The hot news of Bitcoin this week is Bitcoin Core attempting to remove OP_returns in order to pave the way for a new startup (Citrea) to easily conduct business in Bitcoin.

Interested in trying Citrea.xyz for free, but don't have any Testnet v4 coins?  I've got you covered for 60 days!

To receive your free 10 Testnet coins you will need to make a $20 deposit, this can be paid in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that is reasonably mainstreamsupported on my exchange.  After you return the 10 Testnet coins, I will return your deposit in full.

1. "I am requesting 10 v4 Testnet coins with a deposit paid in ________.  My coins can be returned to *insert address* after I return the Testnet coins."
2.  I will send you an address to make your $20 deposit.
3.  Use your Testnet coins for up to 60 days.
4.  Return the Testnet coins to the address I provided you in step #2.
5.  Receive your full deposit back (minus miner fees).

Any Testnet coins not returned in 60 days will be considered as lost and the deposit will be forfeited.

(OPnet.org is worth checking out too if you are interested in smart contracts and such on Bitcoin. [OPnet uses Bitcoin Testnet v3])

If you don't want to deal with deposits, faucets, or mining, you can use my website AltQuick.com to buy v4 Testnet and then sell them when your done testing or donate them to our Testnet Faucet (https://altquick.com/faucet/).

Trade with Bitcoin, 20 other altcoins, and no account or personal information:  https://altquick.com/swap/

Or

Trade directly on our main exchanges bid/ask (user required, but no personal information and email is optional):  https://altquick.com/exchange/market/BitcoinTestnet4

If you would rather mine your v4 Testnet coins, check out this public pool that I've been mining on:  https://testnet4.btclab.dev/#/
