Pep Guardiola has never failed to get Man City to play in the Champions League so it is not surprising that in the end they succeeded even though they had experienced setbacks in some previous matches. The victory over Wolves was quite important but they need to get one or two more wins to guarantee their position to qualify for the Champions League because if they fail, maybe some teams behind them will catch up.
There are still three games left for this season so Man City must try to win the remaining games and I don't think it will be difficult because Man City's performance has improved a lot compared to the bad conditions they experienced before.
Not only at City but since Pep started his managerial career at Barcelona, moved to Bayern Munich and now at Man City, he has never failed to qualify for the champions league. From their strings of performance, it looks like the worst is behind them and they're going to make it to the champions league next season. However, I don't think he has fix the problem with the team. It's good Rodri will be joining the team very soon but he still need re-enforcement during the summer to improve the team.
