I am not in favor of working on holidays but I am forced to work. But whether payment is made or not, I am not in favor of working on holidays because this day is basically a day for the family.

Yes, it all depends on the company's policy. Whether to work on holidays or not, because most of those who work on holidays have agreed from the start to continue working, for various reasons, even though there is an element of being forced to work, it can be negotiated in advance where you work, and there is nothing wrong with working on holidays to increase family income and that is much better.
As far as I know and this also happens in my country, that every company or business has its own rules for each of its workers and this is regulated by the government in the law. In these rules, workers cannot be forced, and work must have holidays and are allowed to take leave. So of course if the company requires us to work on holidays, the salary will increase by a few percent from working on normal days. So actually as workers, we must follow the company's rules and the issue of holidays or not also depends on the company where we work. If we work in a company that requires us to work on holidays, we must follow it.

In addition, when talking about working on holidays, there may be two types of people who emerge. Some people can really use their free time to rest, recharge, and really enjoy their free time. There are also those who feel anxious or guilty if they don't do something productive. So it all comes back to each individual. But what is certain is that people want to take jobs on holidays because they want extra money.
