Chelsea had more presure in this match and they need a win badly and thats why they won. Liverpool didnt care much about this match because they won the title and thats why they couldnt score many goals because they were lacking focus in finishing. Massive credit to Chelsea for their performance today. They had to play better because they were in desperate need of that 3 points. In as much as it's a loss for Liverpool, I don't think they will be too bothered at this point, considering the fact that the season is already over for them and they've successfully secured the title. If Arsenal or Manchester City were to play against Liverpool today, I don't think they would be celebrating much, since they've always been contenders for the same title.
And i believe if it were possible for Liverpool to forfeit the remaining games, they would have done so by now, as there is nothing to prove or play for. It might even be best for Slot to stop playing his key players to prevent any unnecessary injuries in the last three games.
