I remember a time when WO wanted to wear their physical hats in the real world... That would have gone badly.
Lets not go all paranoid here, wearing a bitcoin tee shirt or hat is not going to get you rolled.
Probably not. That would be a world gone mad. Or a normal day in Russia.
I am getting close to switching to knots. Much thought has gone into this.
All sides of this argument have their problems. But one is best. I am still not convinced totally.
I say all sides because there are more than two for sure. Simple proof:
1. Spam is going in anyway... Let's unfilter op_return which is better than bloating utxos
2. Filters work and we need to keep protecting the small node runners.
3. Theres nothing we an really do about this. Cross your fingers! Strategic reserve?
Going to do it on one node first.
* the majority are not even aware of this which makes them defacto #3. And unfortunately the submajority of those who DO know are also likely #3.

I hate it... Knot.
But it does sound too good to be bugless.One of the risks of being your own bank... and then yeah, the more people know about bitcoin, they can kidnap almost anyone and then get them to send bitcoin, even if the person does not have bitcoin, they might be inspired to get bitcoin if they are being threatened with the death of a loved one.
