Chelsea had more presure in this match and they need a win badly and thats why they won. Liverpool didnt care much about this match because they won the title and thats why they couldnt score many goals because they were lacking focus in finishing. Cole Palmer finally played a good match after a long time
Happy to see Liverpool used their B team. Can't imagine if they keep use their main squad. They might beat Chelsea if it happens.
I think Liverpool using there B team was because,they have already won the Trophy and it's also a good idea to rest the first grade teams while giving the grade B team an opportunity to display their talents in the field. Moreover, they are good young & skillful Liverpool grade B players that needs to be discovered. Maybe the coach wanted to use this match as an opportunity to promote some grade B players that are potentially enough to play in the big team.
However, Chelsea can still stand a chance against the senior Liverpool teams because, Chelsea will play every thing within their own power to earned a 3 points while the Liverpool senior teams might just be so relaxed in the field with no pressure because they have already won the league. For Chelsea, the race for the top 5 isn't over yet as it's now between Chelsea, NewCastle, Nottinghamforest and Aston Villa to earned that very positions in the table,as only two teams will qualify to be among the very top 5.
