Trying to deceive the market, the individual may be considered a gambler since nobody can tell if the price will fall below what they buy with all of their money because we can never predict the price of Bitcoin.

However, even though you have billions of money to spend all at once and whether you are rich or poor, the best option for investing in Bitcoin is to use the DCA method, which involves buying weekly or monthly, as you said. It is a bad idea to put all we have at once in the hopes that it would change our lives, this is very dangerous since we will have nothing left to use for other problems.

If they want to do that then I guess its still fine since somehow its good that they automatically have huge volume stored by buying huge volume of Bitcoin. Also somehow they intend to sell it in future so they might really get a great deal for doing that especially they bought their Bitcoin at very cheap price when the market dumps. Somehow lumpsum strategy is another good way to accumulate Bitcoin and for sure people could use this aside from their famous known DCA strategy.

But strategies will depends on the person since there are people out there can't monitor their investment all the time and cannot do DCA, doing lumpsum would provably good for busy type investors.

Any strategy that you decide to adopt for your Bitcoin investment is your choice inasmuch as you are increasing your stash. If I'm a millionaire or billionaire, I probably won't have the time for weekly or monthly DCA method, I'd likely be buying in lump sum, maybe once or twice in a year. The important thing is that I'm not relenting in stashing my bag, besides, the amount that a very rich person can use to accumulate once will be far greater than the amounts of many low income earners who are diligent in their weekly and monthly DCA. For those of us that doesn't have the funds to buy in lump sums we are the ones that needs monthly and weekly DCA method the most, because we don't have excess money to buy at our own conveniences.

If you're not very rich and you don't adopt the DCA strategy it'll be very difficult to actualize the long term hodl goal. If you don't use the allocation from your limited income to buy Bitcoin something else will collect it. If you have a long term Bitcoin accumulation plan using DCA method, you should not worry about current price as at when you're buying. That is why it's important to have basic Bitcoin knowledge before going into it so you'd understand that at whatever price you buy, Bitcoin has the potentials to increase and always reach new ATH.
