When you open the forum the first thing you see is a headline above the menu that says:

Quote
News: Latest Bitcoin Core release: 29.0 [Torrent]

So my question is, now that Bitcoin Core is doing pretty questionable things such as removing OP_RETURN limit and rushing merging this thing up, should Bitcointalk support Bitcoin Knots now that it's picking up traction?

Bitcoin Knots is not some hardfork full node like Bitcoin ABC, Bitcoin Unlimited, Bitcoin Cash... etc as we saw in the past, it's simply a way to say no to OP_RETURN by using a full node implementation that does not include questionable things, so as far as I know this is not bitcoincoretalk but bitcointalk and Bitcoin Knots is a valid full node implementation, I claim they should include new releases on the news headline too.
Original archived Should the forum support Bitcoin Knots as they do with Bitcoin Core?
