No Champions League trophy; No Carabao Cup; No Europa Cup; No Premier League trophy; Arsenal are going to another season without a trophy. This is not the result I expected, even if Arsenal were not going to win the Champions League I thought they would at least make it to the finals.
The UEFA Champions League elimination last night at Parc des Princes stadium was no drama or shock to me, I do know Gunners will be relegated but on what grounds? By losing to Paris Saint-Germain home and away. Gunners relented too much in the first leg at Emirates and did their best at Paris but it wasn't just good enough since the host prepared enough. Arsenal are the bottlers club this season, they didn't escape the name after having some brilliant performance against elite and mediocre oppositions, they are dissapointed. Mikel Arteta have nothing to show for since taking over as Arsenal headcoach, they've remained consistent in retaining the second position, what more can he ask for?
It's unfortunate that after arsenal got to this point, they still went home trophyless by losing to Paris saint German. The hard luck continues yet again and once more arteta has to face the criticism of being looked at as a coach that isn't capable of lifting a trophy since his Inception as the head coach of arsenal.

The last hope of a premier league team to winning the champions league for the season is finally gone as arsenal has left the tournament empty handed and now all attention has been shifted PSG and inter Milan who though far from what people thought will happen have made it to the finals of the UCL. It obviously looks like it will take time for arsenal to come out of bottling of leagues again. They have to start everything over again with the hope of winning a league in the future.
