They had problems with their development strategies including transfer costs on transfer market and they usually overpay for purchasing new star players, then as a consequence of this bad strategy on transfer market, they also overpay salary to star players.

I consider Maguire, Antony and some players bought by Manchester United are good players but they dont' deserve to be bought at too expensive prices like what they actualy did paid in latest years. Players can change themselves or can show different performances with different clubs or coaches. Not only Antony but also Raphinha in Barcelona and performances of Raphinha in this season are unbelievable. Just in the last season, he was still like a failed transfer for Barcelona. If you need another example, it is Dembele from Dortmund to Barcelona, and now PSG where he seems to reach to his best.

I completely agree with you, Manchester United has been paying shit ton of money in players that didn't worth that much and I also agree with you that different players play differently in different clubs but isn't it strange that everyone plays bad in Manchester United but they shine or play significantly better in other clubs? Or players were playing very well but once they moved in Manchester United, they went downhill. This is what I don't understand about Man Utd, why does this happen, I understand that maybe politics is bad in the club but why do players don't play well there, why do coaches fail too, are they cursed or what?
