I’ve participated in many CEX trading competitions and all runs down to you achieving a particular or specific trading volumes, which most times knocked many participants who did good gains out.

I feel it’s more better trading solo. But again while trading solo is just fixed on gains within your skills and volume accumulation; trading competitions rewards with an extra bonus for trading your tokens and accumulating volume. So it’s like a win-win game here.
Just like the daimond Thursday weekly trading competitions, millions of USDt rewards has been given out to qualified winners.
Though most times, trading rules varies from one CEX to the other which is so discouraging.

I wish to know if there are any other trading competitions with good number of participants so maybe I check them out?

In speaking about trading competitions then the most common rule on here is about trading volume on which this do shows that to those who do have that bigger amount or trading capital
are the ones who do have this kind of advantage since they can generate that huge volume since they are financially capable. For us those plebs who do make out some trades with
small capital wont be having that chance on getting eligible on getting up some rewards. Despite of this condition, its not bad to make yourself that getting involved with competitions on which
you do see this to be a challenge for you to improve yourself way more better in terms of enhancing your trading skills.
Thanks, I see the part here—improving on skill I see

Most of the trading competition are based on trading volume, which instantly discourages or kicks out retail traders. Imagine you, with an account of $2,000 competing with someone whose account is worth $1,000,000. You wouldn't stand a chance.

The exchanges also put in other extra requisites like number of referrals, competitions specifically for new registrants or first deposits

I prefer competitions where winners are picked based on percentage ROI.

Almost of exchanges run trading competitions from week to week, month to months, you just have to keep checking up the announcements.

That’s right, the requirements are much must times—though I’ve seen this Diamond Thursday trading event as worthy of participating—like I’ve been consciously following up this event as it’s on weekly basis—maybe if it plays out fine I will revert back on here too to check out others

These trading competitions is profitable, but sometimes it is not always transparent. You can win and be denied your rewards by displaying you or so on because CEXs cannot be trusted because manipulation is possible.
That is so true, manipulation is something that a CEX can’t do without and that’s why I use some reputable CEX platforms like bitget without some history of such obvious problems. Someone even recommended me to their trading event and the good thing here is that, retail traders has a big chance of winning due to their trading conditions

This is right, a trader that has a deeper pocket will easily beat you even if you are the best trader that's chasing the cash prize for that competition.

I feel it’s more better trading solo.
It is better because you'll not bother yourself thinking about any competition at all. All you need to do is to win those trades and make all of those gains. No chasing, just pure profiting and winning your trades.
Yea I also loved solo trading—but the good part here is while we strive for the trading volume, we receive trending airdrops that most times if we were to buy would be maybe equal to 1/3 of our portfolio amount

It'd be great if trading competition is based on ROI instead of trading volume because we all know who gonna win so it's kinda a massive waste of time.
But we also know that exchange won't benefit from the trading fee if that were the case.

Honestly, I just not interested in trading competition anymore. Fortunately, so many exchange reward trading new coins these days so I prefer that.
Like seriously, their are CEX competitions that are not worth participating in—checking out this Bitget diamond Thursday trading event—airdrops worth $s are also rewarded—that’s was my catch
