Remember City Played against Southampton a team who are sitting in the bottom of the league table with only 12 points since the beginning of the season and which is horrible, it will be really humiliating if they can't even go pass this level of points and the season ends, even though it isn’t necessary at the moment because they can't escape being relegated any longer, but I think they resisted not to end the season with such a terrible point record. Manchester City weren't relentless in the game, they tried their best, but the game wasn't in their favor to go home with the maximum of 3 points.
I am very frustrated watching Manchester City game today because they played quite well by recording many attacks but I wonder why it was so difficult for them to score a goal. Southampton does not have a strong defense this season because they have conceded many goals but in today match they showed their strength by stopping Manchester city from beating them.
I see Manchester city position is quite unsafe in the standings because they have played their 36th match with a collection of 65 points and some teams below their ranking have only played 35 matches and maybe in the 36th match they will be able to overtake Manchester City. I am quite surprised if Manchester City fails to get to the Champions League, how is that possible but I hope that doesn't happen.
