If you become a trader who can make a profit in the long term, of course, the reason you stay in the market is to make money. But if you are comfortable enough with the trading activity you do, that is what actually makes a trader continue their activities.
Trading puts certain pressures on some traders that may be difficult to overcome and quite tiring. If you don't feel that, maybe you really have a hobby in trading. No wonder people like that can make their expertise in trading as a business or job to make money.
