He wiuld have to identify players he wants and those that might not be relevant or his plans. He has to convince important players to remain in the club, as there are reports that Harry Kane might be considering moving back to the English Premier League. Then he also needs to target new players and allow others who are not part of his plan for next season to leave.

It seems you are setting too high a standard for them because for most of the seasons, they have been comfortable with the Bundesliga title except the few times they won the Champions League or their cup. No doubt, Bayern Munic is a great team but that does not automatically mean that they must win all the time. Even Real Madrid have had seasons they went without trophies and other years they were able to catch up. Everything football team have their time to shine, so Bayern Munic should be fine with winning the Bundesliga this season.
