Arsenal needed a good right winger to compete with Maetineli, Martineli lacks the experience to break down opponents defenses, they were able to score one goal in the Champions League when Arteta brought in Trossard because Maetineli failed to create a single chance in the entire 70 minutes that he played.

Liverpool didn't need to push themselves any further after they took a 2-0 lead. Even if the score hadn't been 2-0, they didn't need to push themselves because they were champions and they didn't need to show the high performance they showed throughout the season. They knew they didn't need to push themselves too hard because the players were at a higher risk of injury towards the end of the season. Arsenal fans always have very high expectations from them, but Arsenal can't seem to achieve the success they want.

Arsenal could become a very different team with a few transfers. I don't think they're a bad team and I think they could become very good with a few more transfers.
