His first season did not go well and he was not able to win any titles with the team but I see this is not the end of the journey because next season he will be much better in terms of adaptation. According to the statistics of his first season, I think Mbappé is successful. Everyone had high expectations from him because he came to Real Madrid as a world star. However, when I see the situation he is in, I think Real Madrid has been successful this year. If Real Madrid can go all the way to the Champions League next year, I am sure Mbappé can have better statistics than this. I can say that he is the third best player in the world right now after Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.

I can agree with you that Mbappe had a successful first season due to his awesome performance after he got some setbacks at the early stages of the season but Real Madrid is not successful this year. Trophy signifies success in a team even if the team had a good season but without a trophy it is not a success. Mbappe and his teammates did great job but unfortunately, they will finish the season trophyless and i wonder if they can even withstand next season's pressure because Barcelona have manged to build a great team amidst financial difficulties and i see the team as fit enough to withstand next season even though they will need to add few players to the team. Mbappe have really been awesome this season but i still think that Vinicius Jr deserves the crown of the best player in the team, maybe if Mbappe can perform more better next season, he will be deserving of the best player.
