I thought nothing would come of it, but here it is Ancelotti is taking over Brazil. What do you think, how far can he go in the upcoming WC? If everything falls into place, he could be the main favorite to win.
There was so much talk about it that I think hardly anyone doubted Ancelotti would end up becoming the Brazil coach. A lot of things fell in place with Real Madrid looking for a new coach, Alonso out of a sudden began to reject journalist questions about his future and he denied to confirm that he will fulfill his contract with Leverkusen. I think at that point it was obvious.
Nevertheless, I think this coach rotation is going to be interesting for everyone. Curious to see how Alonso will be doing with Real Madrid and even more exciting to see how Ancelotti will be doing with Brazil. It is not the powerful team that it once used to be, but for Ancelotti this is still a great moment and probably the last chapter in his career.
The thing is that, for man of Carlo Ancelotti's age to step aside whilst managing a prestigious club like Real Madrid and going for a national team show's one thing, the intensity and pressure that comes to a coach managing an elite club like Real Madrid is very high, the demands and target that is slated for you to meet could easily be managed by a younger person's temperament who is very ambitious, and am still suspecting that it's that intense pressure
tothat comes with managing such a club that made Zinedine Zidane not to renew
his contract with Madrid, rather he is looking for the option to coach a national team. meanwhile for a national team the weekly pressure for every game is not there, in some cases you could even have 15 or less games to play in a full year for a national team, which is more relaxing and easy going for a man of his age and his level of experience.
