I agree! So we are on the same point actually.
I could throw in a couple of cents: the liver has no pain receptors either.

EDIT - Hail @psycodad with his suggestion. He's hitting the nail on the head (a nail placed on the head of the patient, just to be clear).

A brainectomy seems excessive, a tiny little hole often is sufficient.
I wouldn't be here posting without Doc Freemans groundbreaking procedure.
Follow the science I'd say.
