@OP: I've seen people get banned for this, so you got away good 
Someone got banned for including altcoins instead of bitcoin for a contest or giveaway? I guess the person did something stupid like maybe posted the same content again after his post was taken down by the forum moderator. But I think such person will be given a temporary ban.Or maybe the person is trying to use it to scam but scam is not moderated to the point that the person will be banned but the post will be taken down.
