https://www.thecitizen.co.tz/tanzania/news/national/tanzania-s-vice-president-mpango-i-m-retiring-to-inherit-my-father-s-farming-legacy-5041342 Agriculture , our lost glory

The worse of it is that we hardly would have an ordinary Nigerian say this right now with the current insecurity situation in the country, saying he is leaving his job in town to retire to his farm in the village. Such person will go hungry because the farm that was suppose to provide food for you will be overrun by herders.

The issue of insecurity is quite alarming in Nigeria and that has affected agriculture in the land making hardship to become unbearable as it stands now. Agricultural products use to be our main export in the recent past but what has happened now is that politicians have become indifferent to the challenges facing the system. Here we see a Vice president from Tanzania retiring back to his father's farm but same is not happening in Nigeria unfortunately. I would have shown the picture of the VP but I'm yet to get to where I can attach images for now.
