A poor country cannot and should not invest in Bitcoin. There are basic things to look into that will stand as the major source of revenue for the country and Bitcoin isn't that investment. Bitcoin investment can only add to the list of investments, but not a major investment to make the economy of that country better. When trying to move a poor country into a developed class, you don't depend on one investment only, there are many sectors to look into and it should first go through what the country has to offer to other countries, natural resources included but a country that will only depend on it's natural resources alone to work the economy will some day have to change that perspective.

Rich or poor countries should not rely on their bitcoin investment. Instead, they must create more jobs so their people won't suffer from poverty. Investment is not the solution to a poor economy, but it is how the leaders spend the money of the country. Corrupt leaders won't improve their country even if they have multiple investments, because the money won't go to the people but into their pockets. The solution here is to solve the internal problem and stop corruption, which is why a country never grows.
