I like what you have said on the last sentence.

Because that is true, we don't have to force things so that we can be good at what we gamble with.

Just relax and let things happen according to its own, there will be less stress and emotion if just relax as we gamble.
It is easy to say but difficult because though there is no other alternative yet, people want to make something different and also want a different result, and that isthe  only win. There is no other thing a gambler wants but only wants to be a winner at any cost, and the main reason to be addicted and become a loser is such types of emotion, almost there is no way to be the opposite of it.
That's right.
Being so desperate for a win (which is very normal for most gamblers) has its own way of affecting the gambler's rational behaviour towards gambling and mostly results to poor decisions. It's not like it's not good to expect wins from one's bets, I mean no one wants to e a loser, but gambling solely for the wins is where the problems comes in, because you can easily be pushed into doing some things just to win, and those things may not quite go well with normal logic. So even if a gambler is to expect a win when gambling, they should try as much as possible to avoid prioritising gambling wins over other things like the fun and thrills the game has got to offer.
