There are some opinions that with government intervention and more and more regulations being tightened, people will tend to turn to DEX to protect their privacy. From there the demand for DEX will increase and its market share will also increase. It sounds reasonable but I don't think it's that easy because the purpose of the government when issuing regulations is to manage and control us more closely. Anything that hinders or affects their goals, they will seek to eliminate just like they eliminate mixers. So I don't think DEX will be treated fairly or can compete fairly with CEX.
CEX will continue to dominate the market and people will tend to use it more because not many people want to go against the government.
