Ireland has got off to a strong start against West Indies in their first ODI match. It is interesting, because both the openers (Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie) were in poor recent form. The match is taking place at Castle Avenue in Dublin, and therefore Irish batsmen have the home advantage. For now, they are taking on the West Indian bowlers with ease. Pacers such as Matthew Forde, Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph were not able to trouble the batsmen, while Gudakesh Motie is not getting much advantage from the track.
Although Ireland has increased their strength compared to before, I would still agree with you that they are actually benefiting more from the fact that the match is in Dublin. And it is normal that every country plays better in its own ground  in most cases.
Anyway, after 15 overs, Ireland have managed to score 77 runs and have not lost any wickets, the current run rate is 5.13.
It is actually a really good sign for Ireland that despite being stronger than the West Indies team, they are still playing well without losing a wicket against them. However, I still have doubts about the result of the match because nothing can be said after only 15 overs. If Ireland can score above 280 runs, then they may have a chance of winning.

Ireland and West Indies are playing against each other in a new series, the first match of which looks very weak because the Ireland batsmen are not playing fast enough, which is why their victory does not give me hope, due to which they will lose the match. The run scoring speed of the Ireland batsmen is also very low, due to which we do not have hope from their hard bowling. It has been a pleasure to see a good game from the West Indies and they will be successful in winning this match. The West Indies bowlers will achieve an easy target with their bowling. If the Irish batsmen do not play very well, it will be easy for them to defeat. But one good thing from Ireland is that their batsmen did not lose any wickets in 17 overs, due to which they are giving a weak target in this match. This win is clear for the West Indies, so we should not expect improvement from Ireland.
