I don't adjust my gambling budget based on wins or loses, I adjust it based on my income at anytime, I use percentage to determine the bankroll. I can increase the budget for gambling if my income increases, likewise if my income decreases I'll reduce the bankroll. Since I earn weekly I natural make budget provisions weekly, the bankroll will take me throughout the week, if I exhaust it within a day or two I won't gamble for the rest of the week. Budget is the main basis to be called a responsible gambler because that is what you have a control over as a gambler.

I think there is no universal advice. There is universal advice that usually come from most people although I do not agree with it 100%. The advice I'm referring to is the one which is "use few % of your salary only". I do not agree because if we use a specific percentage from salary, it can be both something too much (for those with huge salary) and something too small (for those with low salary). For me, the best gambling budget for every individual is obviously subjective and the gambler should know themselves on how much to spend based on many things (not only based on salary).
