I'm looking for any of his social media profiles or email contacts or any other. He even received a 0.3 BTC donation from eXch and had a good reputation for contributing to projects especially for eXch SimpleX BOT. According to him he have worked with @paid2

However, after confirm his identity by asking him a pm in bitcointalk he done it and later  I sent him a XMR payment for swap, he suddenly vanished (its been 6 hours almost) from SimpleX chat.

I don't want to assume he was a scammer, but it certainly looks that way.

It’s been almost a day, and he’s gone. Well it looks like he either blocked me or deleted my contact on SimpleX. At this point, I’m convinced he was 100% a scammer.

Because he had worked with exch and even received donations from him, I trusted him. But apparently, that wasn’t enough. He turned out to be a real scammer who was just looking to take advantage of someone before disappearing.

I didn’t use escrow because I trusted him he had connections with exch, worked for a while, and seemed like a good developer with solid knowledge. Honestly, I never imagined someone like that would scam me and then vanish. It was my mistake that I went first on the deal. I believe right now he is looking this read and reading all those.

As I mentioned, he only referenced “@paid2” and then disappeared. I believe he may also have some connection with @paid2.

I always try to help bitcointalk users with swaps that don’t require KYC or AML checks, and I do my best to protect them from getting scammed by centralized exchanges or other platforms. Unfortunately, scammers are always among us, pretending to be trustworthy. Please remember: even if someone is well-connected, vouched for, or has a good reputation or rank, you should not automatically trust them. A scammer is a scammer they don’t care about anything but their own gain.

Stay cautious and always double-check before making any deals.
