When it comes to the beautiful game of football there are allot of history or statistics that is created and these statistics gets to play out in the future
Of course, each football team has their own statistics. It can be consideration for the future matches but it will never have a role for the future matches.

Tottenham won this years europa league title and Tottenham coach boosted about him winning a trophy in his second season as a manager in any club that he finds himself and many people laugh over it and eventually the history of Ange Postecoglou winning a trophy in his second season has  come out to be true again
I think this one is just a coincidence. I don't get any idea that a coach always won a trophy in the second season. Some coaches can directly win the trophies in their first season. Hansi Flick and Kompany are the real examples. Ange Postecoglou is just lucky that he could win UEL trophy in his second season with Tottenham.

So this left me to ask the question does statistics really work in football or it just a coincidence that it happens
When you analyze the statistics and the current condition of the teams, then you win betting because of the analysis. I think we can't say it is coincidence. Usually, analyzing the statistics really works to determine the chance of winning. However, it won't work every time because football match is sometimes full of surprise.
