One thing you should also know is that most persons don't know how to use the right "keywords" when searching for information on the internet. It matters a lot because google will always give what is more popular. That is, If you search for "top 10 crypto wallets", you will get result full of centralized exchanges because they have an embeded custodian wallets. These platforms rank high because of SEO and paid traffic that is why they will always come first when you search with that keywords.

When searching always be specific by using the right keywords. For example

“What is the best way to store my Bitcoin securely?”

“Top 10 non-custodial crypto wallets?”

“Best Bitcoin wallets with private key control?”

As far as I know, Google relies on popularity, brand...while top companies are spending a lot of money to promote their brands. So, it's no surprise those search results.

Besides, Google is just a search engine and it understands the question based on the text we provide, it is not human so it cannot deeply understand what we really want. That is why it often gives us multiple results at once for reference instead of just giving a single result . So,  you are right , we need to focus on how to use "keywords" to get the most accurate results. We can't blame it and say it gives wrong or biased results when our questions are general , not specific...or not focused on what we want to  ask.
